Hours: Day worker 21 per week Night worker 11 per week

We are looking for a fun and compassionate weekday Complex Needs Activities Support Worker and a weekday waking night worker to join an established team.
Supporting a very funny, charming, life loving 19 year old man with cerebral palsy, who is a full time wheelchair user.

Our client has an in house college routine and you will be working alongside a TA Support Worker during term time.

• Daily activities include: Swimming, rebound therapy, physio sessions, gardening, cooking and local visits to garden centres, cafes and shops.
• Experience with hoisting would be an advantage. Assistance is required for personal care needs and the preparation and feeding of pre made meals.
• The main purpose of the activities role is to assist the lead TA to deliver a college in-house curriculum tailored to the students needs. To support with personal care needs and encourage independence with daily living.
• The waking night support worker will be required to assist with personal care and monitor our client throughout the night.
• Previous experience working with individuals with complex needs specifically cerebral palsy and mobility challenges is essential
• Proficiency in using tracking hoist systems is advantageous, although full training will be provided.
• Applicants must have a full driving licence.
• Ideally experience working within a complex needs school or homecare setting is preferred.
• On both shifts, light cleaning duties and completing documentation will be part of the role.

• Monday, Wednesday & Friday
• 9.00am - 4.00pm

Rate of Pay:

• £12.00 per hour
• Waking Night Support Worker
• 44 hours per week
• Monday – Thursday
• 10.00pm 9.00am
• Rate of Pay
• £15.00 per hour

Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service is required.
