Job Title: Senior Support Worker
Location: Edinburgh
About Us: My client is a leading provider of support services for individuals with a variety of needs. They are dedicated to delivering person-centered care and support that promotes independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Job Description: Providing support and care to service users with substance abuse. Experience writing care pans, risk assessments and other documentation required to assist service users. Knowledge of Safe Needle use, substance dependency issues and the ability to manage a caseload of service users is required.
Responsibilities:
* Managing a case load of service users with a variety of needs and requirements
* Liaising with multiple services to provide the best support possible
* Writing care plans and risk assessments
* Reviewing progress reports and updating goals
* Use of outcome forms
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a similar role within the social care sector
* SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
* Experience of working with individuals with substance dependencies and complex needs
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care
