Job Title: Support SEN Worker

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity in a supportive and inclusive environment? If so, we have the perfect role for you as a Support Worker at our SEN schools in Romford.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to students with SEN, enabling them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personalized support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom.
Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their well-being and independence.
Support students in accessing the curriculum and participating in educational activities.
Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEN, is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
