Are you an education or childcare student looking to gain valuable experience in primary schools? Or an aspiring education professional seeking to work alongside your studies? Join us as a Supply Teaching Assistant working in various primary schools across Leeds!
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across all year groups.
* Support individual and small group learning, adapting to the needs of each student.
* Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources.
* Promote positive behaviour and provide teachers with feedback on student progress.
Requirements:
* Current enrollment in an education or childcare program, or a strong interest in pursuing a career in education.
* Willingness to work in all year groups, from Early Years to Key Stage 2.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in different classroom settings.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children.
* Prior experience within schools such as from volunteering or placements is ideal but not essential.
