Academics are recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work across a range of mainstream and specialist SEN schools in Dunstable and the surrounding areas.
Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant, have a background in care, childcare or support work, or are looking to build your classroom experience, we have flexible opportunities available.
The Role
Position: Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: Dunstable
Pay: £95-£105 per day
Contract: Daily supply and longer-term opportunities
Hours: Monday-Friday, term timeAs a Supply Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis, working with small groups or providing general classroom support. You may work with children and young people with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
Teaching Assistant, care, childcare, support work or youth work experience is welcomed
A positive, reliable and adaptable approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A genuine interest in supporting children's learning and development
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain oneWhy Work With Academics?
