Supply Teacher – Guaranteed Pay Scheme
Locations: York, Pocklington, Selby and Easingwold, North Yorkshire
Start Date: September / October 2024
Salary: £120 – £150 per day
Contract: Supply / Temporary / Fixed Term
GSL Education is looking for a qualified Secondary-trained Teacher to work on a Guaranteed Pay Scheme from September or October 2024. As a teacher on supply with GSL Education, you will gain access to schools across North Yorkshire, in areas such as York, Pocklington, Selby and Easingwold.

Due to a significant increase in demand for teaching staff, GSL Education are excited to offer a Guaranteed Pay Scheme for a Secondary-trained Teacher, with access to their own transport, to undertake supply, mid, or long-term positions in North Yorkshire.
You will gain the all-important guaranteed income, whilst retaining the flexibility of supply work.
The Guaranteed Pay Scheme ensures that you will receive work in schools in your agreed travel remits, and if for any reason we don’t offer you work, you will still be paid!
For those teachers are multi-agency registered, this means that you don't have to manage multiple availability diaries or agency relationships.
How does it all work?
Once you have registered with GSL Education and provided us with excellent references from the last 2 years of employment, we will discuss how many days you can commit to being free for, for the first term of the academic year, and beyond.
We will guarantee to pay you for every day (less one, per week), even if there is no work available.
In order to be paid for not working, you will need to have fulfilled the terms and conditions of the scheme
Supply Teacher – Guaranteed Pay Scheme Minimum Requirements:
Be a UK Qualified Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS). Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply.
Have access to your own transport and be happy to drive up to 45 minutes from your home address.
Be able to provide GSL Education with at least 2 years’ worth of references, which show you are an excellent classroom practitioner.
Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one. GSL Education can offer DBS sponsorship for the right candidate.
