Location: Lewisham, London, England
Pay: £160–£170 per day, depending on qualifications and experience.
Start date: 23 November 2026, or as soon as possible
Contract: Temporary supply; flexible day-to-day cover and longer-term assignments.
Hours: Monday to Friday during term time, Exact hours agreed before placement.

Transparency Education is recruiting enthusiastic, reliable Supply Teachers for primary cover opportunities in Lewisham. Whether your strengths lie in EYFS, KS1 or KS2, we want to hear about the classrooms where you do your best work.
You will help keep learning moving when class teachers are away, providing a calm start, clear explanations and consistent expectations. Opportunities include day-to-day bookings and longer-term assignments, matched to your experience and availability.

Key responsibilities
Take responsibility for the class during the agreed cover period.
Deliver supplied lesson plans and make appropriate adjustments as learning unfolds.
Use the school’s behaviour and safeguarding procedures consistently.
Share useful learning feedback with the class teacher and complete agreed assessment.
Requirements
To be eligible for this role and the stated pay, applicants must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS).
Experience teaching in UK schools, particularly across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
Confidence adapting to different classrooms, routines and school settings.
A positive, professional approach and a genuine commitment to pupils.
A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
The right to work in the UK and appropriate qualifications and training for the role.
Higher rates reflect relevant teaching experience and qualifications. Pay follows school expectations and AWR, where applicable.
