Primary Supply Teacher

Looking for flexibility without giving up great school experience?

Academics are looking for qualified Primary Teachers with QTS to join our supply team and work across welcoming primary schools throughout Lewisham.

Whether you want to work one or two days a week, build a regular supply timetable or are looking for something more consistent, we can offer opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
Follow existing school planning and ensure continuity of learning
Quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff
Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour expectations
Create a safe, inclusive and purposeful learning environment
Adapt confidently to different year groups and school settings
Support pupils to remain engaged and make progress throughout the day

What We're Looking For

QTS is mandatory for this role.

We are looking for teachers who are:

Qualified with QTS
Experienced within UK primary schools
Confident across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
Reliable, adaptable and professional
Strong classroom and behaviour managers
Able to quickly settle into new schools
Passionate about making a positive difference to pupilsECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
