Mainstream Primary Schools – Brent
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Flexible supply (Daily / Short-term / Long-term opportunities)
Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers to work across welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary schools in Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers looking for flexible teaching opportunities while making a positive impact on pupils’ learning and development.

As a Supply Teacher, you will provide high-quality teaching and support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment in the absence of the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with school planning and curriculum expectations.
• Provide high-quality teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Follow lesson plans and ensure pupils remain engaged and supported.
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND and EAL.
• Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Provide feedback to schools regarding pupil progress and classroom activities.
• Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• A confident and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• The ability to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A flexible and professional attitude.
• A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (UDS), or be willing to apply for one.
