Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Rugby and the surrounding areas?
Hays Education is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in specialist schools, alternative provisions and SEN settings across Rugby. We have a range of day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities available to suit your availability.
Your new role
Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD and MLD
Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning support
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Helping pupils to achieve their individual learning goals
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working with children or young people with additional needs
Backgrounds in education, care, support work, youth work or residential settings are welcomed
A patient, resilient and positive attitude
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Availability for flexible supply work in Rugby
