Role: Secondary Supply Teacher
Location: Essex
Position: Flexible / Temporary / Cover
Pay Rate: £120 - £140 per day (DOE)
Are you an enthusiastic Secondary Teacher looking for flexibility, variety, and a better work-life balance? We are working closely with a prominent group of secondary schools across Essex seeking passionate cover teachers for immediate and upcoming opportunities.
Whether you are looking for daily supply work, short-term assignments, or longer-term cover across key stages 3 and 4, this role offers the freedom to choose when and where you work while remaining fully engaged in teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-planned, engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment in line with school policies.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and foster a supportive learning space.
Leave detailed feedback for returning class teachers.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome).
Strong classroom management and adaptability skills.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
Right to work in the UK.
