Supply Planner

Description:

We are supporting a company based in Burgess Hill who are recruiting for an experienced Supply Planner, paying £35,000. This is a 12-month FTC within an established business so there could potentially be a permanent opportunity available at the end of your contract. There is free parking on site and the office is around a 20-minute walk from the nearest train station.

The hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm. You will be offered hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Ideally you will be able to start immediately although for the right candidate then notice will be considered.

Duties will include:

Perform data analysis to identify where forecast adjustments are needed
Prepare data for monthly review meetings as well as facilitate meetings
Create and develop 24 month rolling forecasts using historical sales data and market trends
Maintain documentation for planning processes and systems
Continuously evalutate improvements in forecasting techniques, method and approach while balancing cash flow.To be successful you would need to have experience of forecasting and demand planning within a similar role. You must be confident with analysing and interpreting large amounts of data and identifying problems or trends. Ideally you will have SQL and basic ERP system skills, although this is not essential.
