Having secured increased demand through existing and new customers with continued growth projected in the coming years. Our client are now looking to expand their Supply Chain team to help support and accelerate their growth.

Job Purpose:

As the Supply Chain Scheduler, you will take ownership and accountability for executing the production schedule covering daily, weekly, and longer-term forecasts.

The prime objective of the Supply Chain Schedule will be to:

Meet and exceed our customers’ needs. Achieve Performance against the agreed-on time in full-service level.

Support all other business KPI metrics on cost, waste, material efficiencies, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, and labour utilisation with sensible scheduling.

Main Tasks/ Key Responsibilities:

* Demonstrating productive and purposeful engagement with all internal and external supply chain stake holders and the production team.

* Executing a production plan that maximises capabilities both human and equipment based on available time and current run rates.

* Taking ownership of plan execution through continuously reviewing demonstrated production performance and realigning the production schedule accordingly, this is key to maintaining stock levels of all Raw Materials, minimising schedule changes and the associated impacts on production efficiencies.

* Working closely with the Production manager to ensure the costed level of labour is allocated to each production run.

* Continuously risk assessing Raw Material lead times and evaluating any impact on the production schedule.

* Having a “Plan B” in the event of unanticipated shortages in Raw Materials to maintain production flow, mitigate any impact to the customer, and achieving labour recovery requirements.

* Working closely with warehouse to ensure all Raw Materials are available and transferred to stock with precise accuracy and timing.

* Working closely with all other Departments to deliver excellent customer service.

* Place Purchase orders for ingredients, packaging, and consumables.

* Confident in raising new Manufacturing orders considering material and capacity as required.

* Expedite POs to meet the needs of the business.

* Support the Supply chain & Procurement Lead as the responsible point of contact for all Planning and supply chain queries.

Essential

* Certified in Production Planning and Inventory Management (CILT) accreditation or other relevant certification.

* Willingness to grow through personal development and training.

* Proven experience working as a production Scheduler in a similar role.

* Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

* Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (ERP) and related software.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent organisational and time management skills.

* Effective communication skills.
