Supply Chain and Procurement Executive required for Cheltenham based organisation.
Job Title: Supply Chain & Procurement Executive
Location: Hybrid – minimum of 2 days per week in Cheltenham office
Salary: up to £40K per annum DOE + package
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week (M-F 9-5.30)
Lovely opportunity for an experienced supply chain & procurement professional to join a growing organisation in a key role. Reporting to the senior management team, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day supply chain & procurement management of a new product range to ensure that requirements are always met.
Essential skills & experience required:
* Previous experience of supply chain management and procurement ideally within a manufacturing, engineering or healthcare environment,
* Experience of demand planning and forecasting,
* Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, formulae, etc.),
* Strong IT capabilities with experience of using ERP systems,
* Good numeracy skills and an enjoyment of working with numbers,
* Excellent communication skills with an ability to build strong working relationships.
Responsibilities will include:
* Build strong working relationships with all stakeholders including suppliers, third party partners and end-clients to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations from manufacturing to sales order fulfilment,
* Support senior management team to negotiate favourable terms and conditions,
* Monitor sales demand to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained,
* Develop robust MS Excel systems to manage demand-supply scheduling based on actual and forecast sales,
* Procurement of inventory for all Group businesses from suppliers (manufacturers and distributors) including finished product, raw materials and packaging as needed,
* Maintain clear records of master data for all product materials including source, specification, price, delivery terms & conditions, etc.,
* Liaise with third-party fulfilment providers to ensure timely processing and fulfilment of orders,
* Liaison with partners to identify product design improvements,
* Support the development and launch of new products,
* Associated administrative tasks including liaison with accounts to ensure suppliers are paid in a timely manner.
