Description:
Our client are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will ensure sufficient stock availability across the wider business to support the achievement of sales targets.
Responsibilities of a Supply Chain Planner
* Work autonomously to drive inbound operations
* Raising PO’s on SAP
* Managing stock levels
* Negotiating prices with suppliers
* Maintaining up to date records of delivery dates
* Liaising with suppliers & factories for order and inventory queries
* Working with 3PL to ensure efficient delivery of shipments
* Daily admin tasks e.g. data entry, management reporting
* Support on projects as required
Key Competencies of a Supply Chain Planner
* 3-5 years’ experience in a similar supply chain position
* Numerical and analytical skills
* Proficient using Microsoft Excel
* Experience using modern ERP systems and CRM’s
* CIPS qualification – Level 3+ (desirable)
* Spoken/Written Mandarin (beneficial)
