Job Title: Supply Chain Planner

PAYE Rate: £17.95 per hour

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and proficient Supply Chain Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who can work independently and adapt on the fly. This role requires strong Excel skills, good communication abilities, and numerical capability. Experience with Oracle and a background in an analytical role is advantageous. We are open to considering junior profiles, graduates, and ex-placement students for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the creation of the master production schedule and material plan to meet customer demand under general supervision.
Plan and maintain daily supply chain operations in one or more functional areas such as materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management, or order fulfilment.
Ensure internal and external customer's expectations and requirements are met.
Use common processes, tools, and information systems.
Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans.
Execute the daily operational planning process within a specified functional area.
Identify potential supply chain failures as part of the planning process and mitigate associated risks.
Work closely with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop short-term tactical improvements.
Use the planning system to drive consistent planning signals across the supply chain.
Participate in functional process improvement teams.Must-Haves:

Proficiency in Excel
Good communication skills
Strong numerical capabilityPreferred Qualifications and Experience:

Experience with Oracle
First experience in an analytical role
At least one internship or equivalent work experience in a Supply Chain role
Experience in Manufacturing Supply Chain is a plus, but not mandatory
Experience in the automotive sector is not requiredJob Summary: In this role, you will plan and maintain daily supply chain operations, ensuring customer expectations and requirements are met. You will be trained in the use of MRP systems and Master Production Scheduling Systems, and will work closely with stakeholders to develop improvements and mitigate risks within the supply chain.
