Supply Chain Planner (Data & Analytics Focused)
Certain Advantage is hiring for a Supply Chain Planner based in Leeds for a global leader in power solutions, supporting customers across a wide range of industries.
This role is on a fixed-term contract basis till February 2027 (with a strong likelihood of extension) and is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. The position is full-time, working 37.5 hours per week.
The Role
This role is for a motivated Supply Chain Planner who enjoys working with data and driving operational improvements.
You'll be responsible for:
Planning and maintaining daily supply chain operations across key functional areas.
Analysing planning data and KPIs to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
Monitoring and optimising planning system parameters to improve supply chain performance.
Executing daily operational planning activities within your assigned area.
Identifying potential supply chain risks and supporting mitigation plans.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver short-term operational improvements.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and participating in process improvement projects.
The Individual
Strong analytical skills with experience processing and interpreting data.
A good understanding of supply chain principles, ideally gained in manufacturing, logistics or a related environment.
A degree (BSc or BA) or equivalent experience within Supply Chain or a similar analytical discipline.
Experience working with supplier performance management would be advantageous.
The ability to work collaboratively with data and planning teams to improve planning outcomes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
