Join Northwood and make a real impact to our Production, ensuring streamlined planning and processes, material availability, transport coordination and outbound movements, and continuous improvement of Supply Chain activities!

This role will support many of our sites remotely while predominantly based at Telford.

About the RoleOn a typical day, here’s what you’ll be involved in:

Developing and issuing daily and weekly production plans aligned to demand and capacity.
Monitoring and adjusting production schedules in response to machine breakdowns, labour constraints, material shortages, or changes in customer demand.
Balancing site capacity utilisation, changeover duration, and order priorities to optimise efficiency, and minimise downtime and waste.
Liaising with site Production/Manufacturing Managers remotely to confirm feasibility of planned schedules.
Reviewing forecasts and sales orders to ensure accurate production requirements are planned.
Maintaining optimal stock levels of finished goods to effectively manage available space and minimise shortages.
Monitoring slow moving and excess inventory and work with stakeholders to reduce obsolescence.
Ensuring production aligns to agreed loading schedules and transport capacity.
Raising and managing material orders to ensure availability.
