Excellent opportunity to join a global leader and multinational manufacturer and distributor. Seeking a Supply Chain Planner who has a couple of years experience as Supply Chain Planner or Coordinator to join their team and report into Account Management Division Deputy General Manager. Must have Minimum 2 years’ experience in demand planning and stock management.

Position: Permanent
Functional area: Account Management Division

Supply Chain Planner:
SALES ORDER PROCESSING: to manage the orders of our distributors, liaising with the warehouse, suppliers and other members of the team to ensure their queries are timely looked after and the goods are shipped in line with customers’ expectations.

OPERATIONS PLANNING: Demand planning, inventory control and reporting of sales, stock, shipment schedules and KPIs.

PROJECTS: Support the Account management team with implementation of new business/lines of products, and projects to improve the efficiency of the company which might require extensive ERP development.

Supply Chain Planner General Duties
• Sales Order Processing for all Air-conditioning products (Units, accessories, spare
parts):
- Daily processing of sales orders in our system
- Tracing and release of Back Orders in our system
- Preparing and supplying the necessary documentation
- Liaising with customers by phone and/or email answering enquiries in regard to:

- sales orders, stock availability and Orders ETAs
- Liaising with the Warehouse staff to resolve logistical issues.
- Liaising with our European and Asian suppliers.
- Consult with Technical Team (Pre/After sales as appropriate) to support sales.
- Release Stock and Control aged back orders on a daily basis to support inventory management
- Filing of necessary shipping documentation

Operations Planning
o Demand planning for assigned category: Regular update of mid- and long-term
forecasts and other parameters that assist on creating purchase orders to vendors.
o Ensure we have the right amount of stock to fulfil customer demand without
incurring in shortages or generating surplus inventory.
o Liaising with vendors to ensure production is on time, assigning priorities when
required and keeping customers well informed on shipping schedules of future
incomings.
o Keep close and fluent communication with the technical team in order to
understand the product, its compatibilities with other units and the product life
cycle, to better be able to estimate the demand.

Supply Chain Planner Required Skills
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Good Communication skills
• Excellent Customer service attitude (internal/external)
• MS Office (Advanced - Excel is key)
