Description:

We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager on behalf of a global food manufacturer based in Banbury, that offers a real family-feel culture and is a market leader in their industry. Experience working within food manufacturing / FMCG is essential.

Purpose of the Supply Chain Manager role:

To manage the department to ensure customer expectations are met whilst achieving all corporate standards and key performance indicators along with optimising the supply chain operations to achieve cost effective, safe, and sustainable solutions.

This role is offering the salary of £57,000 - £67,500 dependent on experience and is 35 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager:

Provide an objective overview for the whole of the Supply Chain, assisting in the resolution of problems, and prioritising orders and materials to achieve the best order date with minimal charges.
Review MOQ’s with the purchasing department to ensure they are matching current demand.
To provide planning and scheduling policies to ensure optimum use of factory capacities.
Work with and support the Inventory Controller in assessing new launches and product delists.
Coach and develop the staff through periodic reviews.
Provide one-to-one support continuously for potential supply issues or redundant finished goods stock to the relevant departments.
Ensure a thorough understanding of all audit standards and expectations exist at all levels.
Requirements for the Supply Chain Manager:

Experience within food manufacturing / FMCG is essential.
Experience of managing Supply Chain processes within a manufacturing organisation.
Experience of managing and developing ERP systems.
A proven track record of managing a successful department through supporting managers.
A confident leader, and self-starter with excellent communication and management skills.
Confident user of all Microsoft packages in particular excel.
