Your Activities:

* Lead the selection, management, and performance of the supplier relationship.

* Negotiation of NDA's, LTA's and T&C's with suppliers.

* Monitor supplier pricing, quality, and delivery performance, addressing any under performance.

* Develop and manage supplier scheduling to support customer demands.

* Manage scheduling and purchase order processes within ERP system.

* Prioritise and complete tasks in accordance with commitments to support business and customer expectations.

* Work in accordance with the Quality Management System and Employee Handbook.

* Complete ERP system tasks to ensure material traceability is maintained.

* Take responsibility for the leadership and prioritisation of the supply chain priorities.

* Lead the development of supply chain to support business road map.

Your Profile:

* Bachelor's degree engineering discipline or equivalent education.

* Strong creative and innovative problem-solving capability.

* Ability to build and foster professional relationships.

* Experience in managing supply chain activities in ERP software tools.

* Ability to write high quality communications an understand technical reports.

* Able to communicate effectively across all levels in a cross-disciplinary environment.

* Coaching and development of colleagues.

* Change Management experience for implementation of continuous improvement.

* Broad view on developing technologies and opportunities.

* Desirable experience:

* Strong technical and practical understanding of manufacturing processes, such as welding, brazing, bonding, polishing and etching, working with laser light sources.

* Ability to lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.

* Experience of working with and processing optical fibres.

* Technical understanding and experience of designing optical devices.
