Responsibilities
As a key figure in the organisation, the Supply Chain Manager has a critical role in maximising factory output and customer service through effective planning and resource utilisation.
* Managing supply and demand planning, scheduling, procurement, and customer service
* Directing warehousing and distribution
* Designing and implementing best practices
* Driving change initiatives
* Continually reviewing and enhancing the performance of the supply chain team
* Coordinating travel to UK and European locations as necessary
Requirements
Candidates should bring a solid competence of:
* Over 3 years’ experience in a Supply Chain Management role within an FMCG environment, including planning, distribution and procurement.
* People management and excellent interpersonal skills
* Education to degree level or equivalent
* Advanced knowledge of Excel
* Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis
* Demonstrated ability in policy creation and implementation
* Strong commercial negotiation skills
* Exceptional organisational skills for coordinating and managing tasks and projects
* Profound commercial awareness of the supply chain and retail business
