Are you ready to take the next step in your Supply Chain career? Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join this growing food packaging manufacturing business. You will be part of the senior leadership team and manage 7 Direct reports driving operational excellence and achieving high service levels.Responsibilities include:
* Purchasing: Develop and manage sourcing strategy, ensuring cost savings and supplier efficiency.
* Demand & Supply Planning: Oversee all stock management of raw material and provide accurate factory planning.
* Customer Service: Lead the team in managing forecasts, orders, and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction
* Warehousing and Distribution: Work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth logistics operations and adherence to health and safety standards.
* Cross-functional Leadership: Facilitate processes, support continuous improvement, and implement new group measures.
* Coaching & Development: Mentor supply chain teams to achieve both business and personal objectives, managing a team of 7 including the Planning Manager, Warehouse Manager and a team of customer service specialists
* KPIs include EBIT, OTIF, forecast accuracy, customer satisfaction, adherence to plan and contributing to their environmental recognition and reward scheme
To apply you will have:
·Ideally a minimum of 3 years Supply Chaim management experience within manufacturing
·People management experience
·Been involved in, or led continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis
·Experience in drafting and implementing policies and procedures
·Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
·Please is a site-based role only, not a home based role
What’s on offer:
·25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (1 extra day after 1 year, 2 extra after 5 years).
·Hours of working: 36.5. Mon-Thu 9-5 (half hour lunch) / Fri 9-4 (half hour lunch) - can be some flexibility around this which could be discussed/agreed.
·Bonus – max 3.75% salary (after 3 months).
