Contract Interim Supply Chain Manager

Interim contractor production planning and manufacturing supply chain manager job vacancy.
The company has invested over £5m in new equipment and processes. The Supply Chain Manager will be a key part of the team to optimise production planning, inbound materials flow, kitting and mustering WIP, and outbound despatch to customers.
Salary & Package: £25-35/hour contractor.
·Manufacturing Planning on a daily, weekly and monthly basis meet customer expectations efficiently.
·Ensure Production Planning take into account materials, labour, capacity and planned downtime.
·Manage suppliers including supplier selection, management of supplier KPI’s including quality, safety and SLA adherence.
·Manage inbound supply chain , receipt, storage, internal product flow, packaging and outbound despatch to customer.
·Work with suppliers to improve relationships, improve price and improve value from their services.
·Drive H&S in the supply chain and logistics team. Work closely with the H&S colleague on this.
·Work with other managers in the business to identify pressure points and failures, and work together to find remedies which sometimes involve multiple departments.
Skills and experience will include:
·Production planning. Inventory Management.
·Internal logistics and stock holding in manufacturing or similar
·Supplier management and inbound supply chain
·Customer delivery management, outbound despatch
