Our client is a £500m turnover business with offices across the UK. We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to own the function, taking full responsibility for the development and strategic management of the Group’s supply chain. You will join a company powered by some of the best construction professionals in the industry, this is a knockout opportunity not to be missed.
Supply Chain Manager roles & responsibilities:
- Managing and developing the Group’s procurement strategy, ensuring this is aligned to meet agreed goals and objectives.
- Creating and managing the Group’s operational supply chain database.
- Developing key suppliers and implementing key supplier long term agreements in line with the Groups operational and strategic needs.
- Creating and managing the Group’s operational supply chain database.
- Taking accountability for the development of the key metrics and service level initiatives to improve and manage supply chain performance.
- Weekly / Monthly reporting upline to Director of Business Operations.
Supply Chain Manager experience required:
- Minimum 10 years Supply Chain Team experience with excellent relationship management skills.
- Good pre-award contract compilation, post-award contract supply chain management experience within the construction sector, ideally with a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
- Degree educated or similar.
- Excellent IT / reporting skills.
