They require a progressive Supply Chain & Logistics professional possible looking for a first step into management or a graduate with 2 or 3 years perhaps, below is an overview of the market they operate within and for engineering/technology & ground breaking invention then I trust you will find this appealing. Semiconductor devices provide the foundations on which progress in the technology sector are enabled. Scaling these processes requires sub-nanometer measurement of increasingly complex 3D structures to enable more powerful devices. The client has pioneered a revolutionary atomic precision 3D metrology technology which has been qualified by leading companies in the semiconductor industry and we believe is essential for continued progress.
The prime function of the role is to manage the flow of goods and services within the organization.
Location: Abingdon
The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in streamlining the supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management – negotiate delivery dates, audit suppliers and manufacturing transactions, streamline the supply chain process
Logistics and Delivery Management – monitor and manage delivery forecasts. Follow up and support delivery issues for goods and products
Performance monitoring and reporting - setting and reporting KPIs , clear and regular communication to all internal customers, initiating escalation processes for any issues or concerns
Personal Qualities:
- Confident with data analysis and interpretation.
- Ability to understand requirements planning processes.
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills.
Education / Qualifications:
Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems (essential).
Professional Skills/ Abilities:
Essential - Supply Chain experience within an Engineering industry
Preferred – Manufacturing production background
