Description:

Our client is a premier global supplier of food products to the world's leading food service and retail food brands.
As a business that strives to continuously improve, they are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator to join their forward thinking business.

THE ROLE:
To ensure the Dock functions proficiently and professionally, all vehicles must be loaded and unloaded in accordance with company specifications.
Support the Dock function ensuring raw materials usage is measured and controlled, including batch usage and costs, stock reconciliation.
Manage Nitrogen supply, usage and costs. Checking deliveries.
Inform Shift Managers of weekly unit production requirements (not actual scheduling).
Produce production recaps including dry goods areas.
Liaise with hauliers and cold storage when necessary, maintaining stock volumes, rotation and deliveries at all times.
Produce daily carry over figures.
Ensure pallet records are correct.
Provide administration support to Intake/Despatch Manager, Operational functions and Purchasing as necessary.
Generation of Despatch plan.
Maintenance of all tracking information systems (Navision & Recap etc).
Management of the supply chain ensuring timely delivery, despatch and quality of all goods so as not to compromise production or customer.
Provide seven day cover whilst ensuring cost effective use of labour.
Maintain clean as you go policy in all areas of responsibility ensuring hygiene and quality standards are adhered to at all times.
Drive standards of plant hygiene & Housekeeping in team.
Assist new colleagues to integrate into the role and the business.
Adhere to all organisational policies and procedures including Food Safety and Health and Safety legislation requirements.

THE CANDIDATE:
Working knowledge of supply chain and its functions.
Previous experience working within a Supply Chain Coordinator role.
Outstanding organisational skills.
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
Team player.
Good time-management skills.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
