Supply Chain Compliance Specialist- London (Hybrid)- Competitive Salary

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the Supply Chain Compliance Officer will act as the business expert for trade and supply chain compliance matters. This is a standalone specialist role within the compliance team, responsible for ensuring products can be traded compliantly across international markets through the effective management of commodity classifications, tariffs, licences, certifications and customs requirements. Working closely with Product Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality and Commercial teams, you will help translate complex regulations into practical business processes while supporting operational and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

Own product classification, commodity codes and tariff setup across the product portfolio.
Ensure trade compliance for new products, including origin verification, licences, permits and certifications
Monitor changes to tariffs, customs regulations, quotas and trade requirements, assessing business impact
Act as the subject matter expert for customs, import/export compliance and product classification queries
Deliver training and guidance to stakeholders, translating complex regulations into practical actions
Support audits, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with internal and external partners
Develop and improve compliance procedures, controls and operational processes across Supply Chain and Logistics

What we are looking for: 

5+ years experience in trade compliance, supply chain compliance, customs compliance or a similar specialist role
Strong knowledge of commodity codes, tariffs, customs procedures, and import/ export regulations
Experience within a regulated sector such as food, feed, ingredients, chemicals, or personal care
Proven ability to interpret complex regulations, influence stakeholders and delivery training
Detail oriented, proactive, confident operating independently within a fast paced international environment.
