Description:
Our client is a large manufacturing firm who is looking to recruit a supply chain assistant to join the team.
Main Purpose of the Role:
Supporting the Finished Goods department with day-to-day tasks and continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities and Duties:
·Collate and analyse KPI’s – for both logistic and manufacturing purposes.
·Data management within the Microsoft ERP system.
·Process internal and external orders.
·Monitor and review inventory levels.
·Issue and assist with stock inventory counts.
·Source new materials/machinery and liaise with suppliers.
·Place purchase requisitions and receive goods in via purchase orders.
·Assist with new product creation and price reviews.
·Provide troubleshooting support within the division.
·Perform various other administrative tasks.
Essential Criteria:
·A recent qualification HNC/HND qualification.
·Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
·An awareness of lean manufacturing and kaizen.
·Meticulous and detail orientated.
·Ability to work methodically, and efficiently within deadlines.
·Ability to work independently when required.
·Good communication – both verbally and written.
·Teamwork
·Willing to learn and develop new skills.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
