We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business looking to add a Supply Chain Administrator to their team. This Supply Chain Administrator role offers the opportunity to join a company known for its innovative products and commitment to quality.
As a Supply Chain Administrator, you’ll be joining a collaborative team environment where accurate communication, strong organisation and continuous improvement are highly valued.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:
Monitoring open purchase orders and obtaining supplier acknowledgements within agreed timescales
Validating quantities, prices, part numbers and delivery dates against purchase orders, resolving discrepancies promptly
Updating ERP systems with confirmed delivery dates and maintaining accurate order records
Producing and maintaining acknowledgement, overdue order and shortage reports
Prioritising shortages based on production, customer and operational impact
Communicating delivery risks and recovery actions with Planning, Production and Logistics teams
Supporting expediting activities, order amendments, cancellations and goods receipt queries

Key Requirements
To be considered for this Supply Chain Administrator role, you will need:
Previous experience within supply chain, purchasing, planning, logistics or order administration
Experience managing purchase orders, supplier acknowledgements, expediting activities or shortages
Working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Outlook
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Effective organisation, prioritisation and communication skills
