We are looking for a supplier Relationship Manager to join our successful Assurance Services team. This role is Homebased/Office role.

Job Description

The Supplier Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing all supplier relationships across Inspired at a strategic level. The role would involve being the first point of contact for day to day supplier operations, both internally and externally; dealing with escalations, developing relationships, understanding internal tams requirements and looking for opportunities for Inspired

Responsibilities

Essential criteria;

Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams, at every level within an organisation.
Be a point of escalation internally for supplier issues, proactively chase responses and provide internal updates
Create and maintain a supplier meeting schedule, which should be shared internally.
Collate and provide suppliers with internal feedback
Lead supplier meetings, produce meeting minutes and manage actions
Be the main point of contact for day to day supplier operations
Create and maintain a risk register
Attend supplier conferences to represent Inspired.
Engage with internal teams to understand their requirement of supplier engagement, discussing any supplier problems, opportunities and manage escalations
Manage project plans and product development with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Collate and maintain an internal centralised hub of supplier information communicating any changes.
Manage the supplier tender recipients list
Keep up to date with industry updates and communicate internally
Maintain the supplier SharePoint and promote with internal teams
Present quarterly updates on supplier management to internal teams
Monthly reporting to monitor supplier placement, total supplier volumes and values. (products – move between products)
Read & comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the H&S of themselves and others; co-operate with managers & other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties. 

Desirable criteria;

Monitor supplier credit status, and develop meaningful internal reporting and implement process.
Identify opportunities for Inspired with the suppliers, communicate and manage these opportunities
Manage and negotiate commercial contracts, service level agreements and KPIs with suppliers.
Create and manage supplier SLA dashboards to assess supplier compliance and performanceSkills and Experience

Essential

Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position
Educated to degree level or demonstrate equivalent experience, including English and Maths at least grade C or equivalent
Communicate and influence at every level within an organisation
Strong time management/prioritisation skills
Ability to work alone
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent analytical skills
Excel proficient
Excellent standard of spoken and written English
Ability to travelDesirable

Commercial awareness
Strategic thinker who can understand complex issues and come up with solutions
Experience in project management
Experience in management
