Roles: Supplier Quality Engineer / Continuous Improvement Engineer

Location: Bristol

ARCA is partnered with a rapidly scaling, high tech business seeking to expand its engineering team by hiring an experienced and enthusiastic Quality Engineer.

The successful candidate will lead efforts to maintain and enhance the quality of the company’s products and will demonstrate technical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure that all quality standards meet or exceed the requirements of clients.

Responsibilities:

* Create, put into action, and keep up a thorough plan to make products more reliable and meet regulations

* Investigate and implement ways to improve the company’s manufacturing processes and products perform even better

* Manage supplier quality assurance activities, including audits, compliance checks, and performance evaluations.

* Check the materials and finished products to make sure they match specifications

* Lead accreditation and continuous compliance with ISO 9001

* Work closely with the engineering teams to build quality control into everything that’s built, right from the design stage.

* Keep track of quality by gathering, analysing, and summarising data to create reports and documents.

Experienced required:

* Degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a similar field

* Demonstrable experience in quality engineering, ideally in aerospace, automotive or another high technology field

* Proven success in overseeing supplier quality and doing audits

* Background in improving processes

* Thorough understanding of ISO 9001 and other similar industry standards
