Description:

Our client, a leading company in the aerospace, defence, and automotive sectors, is currently seeking a Supplier Performance Quality Leader - Special Processes to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and performance of suppliers providing specialised processes such as heat treatments, surface treatment, and non-destructive testing (NDT).

Key Responsibilities:

Consolidate supplier performance on a monthly basis, ensuring consistency in measurements by suppliers.
Establish, distribute, and share scorecards while managing quotations for special process suppliers.
Communicate supplier performance regularly to both internal and external stakeholders.
Implement and apply the supplier escalation process.
Define, implement, and monitor action plans to improve supplier performance.
Coordinate and lead a multidisciplinary team to enhance supplier network performance.
Conduct audits to ensure suppliers can meet pace changes and manage load/capacity assessments.
Implement and verify action plans resulting from audits to assess their effectiveness.
Provide medium and long-term recommendations for the development of the supplier network.

Job Requirements:

Experience in supplier relationship management and procurement.
Understanding of supplier quality management in the procurement process.
Technical knowledge in special processes relevant to aerospace, defence, or automotive industries.
Strong analytical and performance management skills.
Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency in conducting and evaluating audits.
Capability to develop and monitor action plans for supplier performance improvement.
