Description:
My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Supervisor to help deliver works on Northumbrian Water schemes in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate must have previous water industry experience and a strong civil engineering background.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
* Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.
* Managing day-to-day site activities.
* Overseeing civil engineering works on water and wastewater schemes.
* Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
* Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring health and safety compliance.
* Liaising with the Site Manager and project team.
* Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme.
* Monitoring quality and maintaining site records.
Supervisor Requirements:
* Gold CSCS or relevant supervisory CSCS card.
* SSSTS or SMSTS.
* Previous experience working on water or wastewater schemes.
* Experience working on Northumbrian Water projects is desirable.
* Strong civil engineering background.
* Good understanding of RAMS and health and safety procedures.
* Good communication and leadership skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
