Job Title: Voids Supervisor (Social Housing Maintenance)

Location: Finsbury Park, North London (Commutable from Enfield, Tottenham, Wood Green, Islington, and Camden)

Salary / Rate: £27.68 per hour (CIS / Umbrella)

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (Temp-to-Perm)

Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (08:00 - 17:00)

We are urgently recruiting a Voids Supervisor to join a leading social housing maintenance contractor based out of Finsbury Park. This is a fast-paced social housing repairs role offering a competitive rate of £27.68 per hour (CIS) and a direct pathway to a permanent staff contract.

As a Voids Supervisor, you will oversee the rapid refurbishment, repair, and turnaround of empty social housing properties across a busy North London patch.

Key Responsibilities of the Voids Supervisor:

Pre-Void Surveys: Inspect empty properties to scope required building maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment works.

Team Supervision: Manage and motivate a team of multi-trade operatives (carpenters, plumbers, plasterers, electricians) and subcontractors.

KPI Management: Drive productivity to minimize void periods and hit strict handover timelines.

Quality Control: Conduct post-inspections to ensure all reactive repairs meet high social housing standards.

Health & Safety: Enforce strict health and safety compliance across all live void property sites.

Requirements for the Voids Supervisor:

Experience: Proven experience as a Voids Supervisor, Repairs Supervisor, or Foreman within social housing, local government, or a housing association is essential.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of property maintenance, trade works, and Schedule of Rates (SOR) codes.

Licence: Must hold a full UK Driving Licence to travel across the North London patch.

Leadership: Strong team management skills with a background managing trade operatives.
