As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting a caseload of foster families. You will provide guidance, training, and support to foster carers to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to provide high-quality care to children placed in their homes. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with local authorities, other social services agencies, and internal teams to facilitate the placement and ongoing support of children in foster care.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit, assess, and train prospective foster carers in accordance with regulatory requirements and organisational standards.

Conduct comprehensive assessments of prospective foster carers, including home visits, interviews, and background checks.

Provide ongoing support and supervision to foster families, including regular home visits, meetings, and crisis intervention when necessary.

Develop and implement care plans for children in foster care, in collaboration with the child, foster carers, and other stakeholders.

Monitor and evaluate the progress of children in foster care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and developmental needs are being met.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, reports, and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance professional development and share best practices.

Social Work or a related field.
Previous experience working in a fostering or child welfare setting, with a strong understanding of child protection issues and legislation. (Preferred)
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, resilient, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children and families.Licence/Certification:
