SUPERINTENDENT MAMMOGRAPHER Required
London
Contract Type - Permanent, full time hours 37.5hrs
Salary – up to £55,000 negotiable DOE.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, experienced Mammographer/Team Leader to join and lead our Breast Imaging Service in the Private Sector.
Duties & Responsibilities
* To manage the day-to-day running of the Breast Imaging Unit in order to provide a professional, efficient and cost-effective Mammography service.
* To organise the training, supervision and professional development of the staff. Manage rota's to ensure high standards are maintained for Patients by having the right staff and skill mix at all times.
* To Act as a deputy for Breast Unit Lead, and management
* Work as a senior member of the team responsible for maintaining and developing the mammography/radiology service.
* Develop action plans to address under performance and identify additional audits as necessary
* Ensure robust policies and procedures are in place and have been reviewed in a timely manner.
* Ability to connect and communicate appropriately with the patient group.
* Assist management with clinical audit and clinical governance processes within the Breast Imaging Unit.
* To be responsible for all management aspects within the legal and policy guidelines.
Skills & Experience
* BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or Equivalent
* Post Grad Certificate in Mammography or equivalent
* 5 years post qualification experience
* Ability to multitask and delegate under pressure
* Manage a team of staff
* Leadership experience.
