Description:

Belmont Recruitment are looking to speak with experienced Recovery Workers, for a rolling fixed term contract available working in Bedford at a NHS service (3 months+).

Purpose of the role:

To manage a caseload of substance misuse clients and carry out referrals, assessments, care plans, 1:1 and groups work, relapse prevention, titration, social prescribing and all other duties carried out by a recovery worker. All these skills are not necessary but the more would be better.

The post holders focus will be to support service users identified through the Criminal Justice System to reduce substance misuse related harm to each individual and the wider community and to help reduce reoffending. Work with service users to support social reintegration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives and promote recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination.

This position is full-time working (9-5).

Paying £20p/h.
