Sub Agent

Description:

Carmichael UK are recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent with structures experience to join a major section of the HS2 project in the Aylesbury area.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, working on a range of complex structural packages in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Managing the safe and efficient delivery of structural works packages

Leading site teams including Section Engineers, Site Engineers and subcontractors

Planning works and ensuring delivery to programme and budget requirements

Reviewing and approving RAMS, ITPs, permits and quality documentation

Coordinating with design, commercial and construction teams

Monitoring progress and resolving technical or construction challenges

Driving high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance

Managing subcontractors and maintaining productive stakeholder relationships

Supporting reporting, forecasting and programme updates

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Sub Agent, Senior Engineer or Section Engineer on major civil engineering projects

Strong background delivering structures packages including bridges, reinforced concrete, viaducts, retaining walls or associated structural works

Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor or major infrastructure project

Strong understanding of quality assurance, temporary works and construction methodology

Ability to manage multiple work fronts and subcontractors

Excellent communication and leadership skills

HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

SMSTS and CSCS required
