Position: Freelance Sub Agent
Project: Bridge Build
Location: Edgcott, Buckinghamshire
Duration: 12+ months
Rate: £400-£450/day (negotiable based on experience)

Force Recruitment are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sub Agent to work on an exciting long-term bridge construction project. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the successful delivery of the project, ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Management: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of bridge construction activities.

* Site Supervision: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.

* Quality Control: Implement quality assurance measures to ensure construction standards are met.

* Cost Management: Assist in the management of project budgets and schedules, monitoring costs and progress.

* Team Coordination: Work closely with engineers, foremen, and other site staff to ensure effective teamwork and communication.

* Problem-Solving: Address any issues or challenges that arise on-site, finding effective and timely solutions.

* Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, issues, and risks to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

* Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in bridge construction or large-scale infrastructure projects with a design background being advantageous

* Relevant certifications in construction management and safety are an advantage.

* Experienced with MS Projects.

* Skills:

* Strong leadership and team management abilities.

* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

* Proficient in project and programme management software and tools.

* Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.

* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
