Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sub Agent to oversee the smooth execution of our highways scheme in Gloucester. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Site Agent in the management of all aspects of the project, ensuring that it is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Site Agent in planning, organising, and coordinating all construction activities on the highways scheme.
Supervise and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Monitor progress against the project schedule and identify any potential delays or issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to address any concerns and maintain positive relationships.
Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including records of site activities, progress reports, and quality control documentation.Requirements:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
Proven experience working as a Sub Agent or similar role on highways or civil engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
