Sub Agent – Civils Infrastructure
Location: Liverpool

We are currently looking for an experienced Sub Agent to join the delivery team on a major civils infrastructure project in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated civil engineering professional looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in the successful delivery of a major infrastructure scheme.
The Role
Working closely with the Site Agent and wider project team, you will support the day-to-day management and delivery of construction activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, to programme and in accordance with the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting the Site Agent with the management of site operations.
*
Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
*
Planning and sequencing works in line with the project programme.
*
Ensuring works are undertaken in accordance with RAMS, drawings and specifications.
*
Monitoring progress and reporting against programme.
*
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
*
Assisting with site records, inspections and quality documentation.
*
Liaising with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
*
Identifying and resolving construction issues.
*
Supporting the Site Agent with planning, coordination and project delivery.
About You
The successful candidate will have:

Experience working as a Sub Agent, Section Engineer or Site Engineer within civil engineering/infrastructure.
*
A relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
*
Experience working on major civils, utilities, highways, rail or infrastructure projects.
*
Good knowledge of construction methods and site delivery.
*
Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
*
A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively within a project team.
*
SMSTS and relevant site safety qualifications.
*
CSCS or equivalent industry certification.
