Sub Agent – RC Structures
Location: Exeter
Duration: 12 Months
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a major civil engineering project based in Exeter, with a focus on reinforced concrete (RC) structures.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Sub Agent with a strong civils background to join a long-term project, playing a key role in the successful delivery of site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
The Role
The successful candidate will support the management and coordination of site activities, working closely with the site team, engineers and subcontractors to ensure the smooth delivery of the works.
Key responsibilities may include:
* Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of RC structures works.
* Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
* Ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications, drawings and programme requirements.
* Monitoring site progress and helping to ensure project milestones are achieved.
* Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
* Liaising with the engineering and project management teams to resolve site issues.
* Monitoring productivity and reporting progress against programme.
* Ensuring works are delivered to the required quality standards and in line with project procedures.
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Sub Agent or in a similar civil engineering role.
* A strong background in civil engineering, ideally with experience in reinforced concrete structures.
* Good knowledge of site operations, construction methods and project delivery.
* Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing site activities.
* Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a site team.
* Availability to start immediately.
