Description:

Sub Agent – Inverness

Location: Inverness / North Scotland

Attention

Looking for your next opportunity in the North of Scotland?

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join an established team delivering a range of Scottish Water infrastructure projects across the Inverness and wider North Scotland region.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects within a long-term water infrastructure framework.

Interest

The role sits within a major programme of works supporting Scottish Water's ongoing investment in its water and wastewater infrastructure.

Projects across the framework can include pipelaying, drainage, capital maintenance, refurbishment and replacement of existing assets, with works varying in size and complexity.

As a Sub Agent, you'll play a key role in coordinating site activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme and quality requirements.

Desire

We're keen to speak with experienced Sub Agents who have a strong background in civil engineering and infrastructure delivery.

Ideally, you'll have previous water industry experience, although candidates with strong experience across other areas of civil engineering and infrastructure will also be considered.

You'll be responsible for:

Managing the day-to-day delivery of works on site

Producing and managing programmes to ensure successful project delivery

Supervising site teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners

Ensuring works are delivered safely and to the required quality standards

Monitoring progress against programme and identifying potential issues

Working closely with the Site Agent, Project Manager and wider delivery team

Liaising with clients, stakeholders and subcontractors

Supporting commercial and operational performance across the project

Ensuring all works comply with relevant health, safety and environmental requirements

The position would suit someone who enjoys working on varied infrastructure projects, wants genuine responsibility on site and is looking to develop their career within the water sector.

Action

If you're an experienced Sub Agent based in or around Inverness or the North of Scotland, we'd like to hear from you.

If you have water experience, that's highly advantageous. However, if your background is in wider civils and infrastructure, we'd still be keen to have a confidential conversation.

Apply today or contact Contract Scotland for more information.
