Sub Agent - Ground Investigation Works
Heathrow Airport
(Inside IR35 - Umbrella PAYE)
Long-Term Contract
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to support the delivery of a major Ground Investigation package at Heathrow Airport.
This role will suit a Sub Agent with a strong background in geotechnical and ground investigation works, managing site teams and specialist subcontractors undertaking cable percussion boreholes, deep boreholes (up to 60m), window sampling, and associated site investigation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Managing Ground Investigation works across site.
Overseeing drilling and sampling operations including Cable Percussion (CP) Boreholes and Window Sampling.
Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with RAMS and ITPs.
Managing subcontractors and coordinating daily site activities.
Reviewing technical information, ground investigation logs, and reports.
Producing site documentation, permits, task briefings, and progress reports.
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Sub Agent, Section Engineer, or Senior Engineer delivering Ground Investigation works.
Strong understanding of:
Cable Percussion Boreholes
Deep Boreholes (up to 60m)
Window Sampling
Geotechnical Site Investigations
RAMS, ITPs, Permits & Quality Processes
Valid CSCS Card.
Heathrow Airport experience advantageous but not essential.
Ability to obtain full airside clearance
