Company: Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Day rate: £400 - £460 PAYE
Project: National Highways Improvement scheme
Randstad is currently looking for an experienced Sub Agent to work with a well-established Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor on a highways improvement scheme in Birmingham.
Job Purpose:
Manage, Coordinate, and drive the activities required to complete the scheme.
The role with include reporting directly into the Project Manager and interfacing with the project team. Responsibilities:
Ensure site processes for quality and assurance are fit for purpose and being adhered to with the project team.
Collate and present progress towards completion for use by Project Senior Leadership Team.
Carry out inspections on site to confirm they meet applicable standards.
Management and delivery of project activities relating to handover of assets. Knowledge & Skills Required:
Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.
Knowledge and experience of Highway Works highly preferred.
At or near Chartered Engineer level preferred
Good written and verbal communications skills.
