Sub Agent

Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major highways scheme in Exeter.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity, offering 12 months of work for an experienced Sub Agent with a strong background in highways and major civil engineering projects.

The Role

* Supporting the Site Agent with the day-to-day delivery of the highways works

* Managing and coordinating site activities, subcontractors and labour

* Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the programme

* Monitoring progress, productivity and quality across the works

* Coordinating with Site Engineers, subcontractors and the wider project team

* Assisting with planning, sequencing and delivery of construction activities

* Ensuring works comply with project specifications, drawings and quality requirements

* Maintaining accurate site records and providing regular progress updates

* Supporting the Site Agent with the overall management and delivery of the package

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Senior Site Manager

* Strong background in highways and civil engineering

* Previous experience working on major highways or infrastructure schemes

* Good understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and programme delivery

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Relevant CSCS / SMSTS or equivalent qualifications

* Ability to manage multiple site activities and work effectively within a large project team
