Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sub Agent to join a major highways infrastructure project based in Cambridge on a 12-month contract, with a start date of 18th August.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile highways scheme, supporting the successful delivery of key construction works from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing day-to-day site operations to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
* Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain programme.
* Preparing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and other project documentation.
* Monitoring quality and ensuring all works are carried out in accordance with project specifications.
* Supporting the Site Agent and Project Manager with planning, reporting and commercial awareness.
* Promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a Sub Agent on highways or major civil engineering projects.
* Good understanding of NEC contracts.
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
* HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to lead site teams effectively.
