Sub Agent

Description:

Seven Resourcing is working with Ringway Services to recruit a Sub Agent for their Engineering Services.

Location: Daish Way PO30 5X

Hours: 40 hours

Pay: £45,000 per annum Salary + car/car allowance

Will be required to travel island wide for site visits.

Delivery of carriageway resurfacing schemes and LTP schemes post CIP.

Delivery of carriageway schemes from analysis of Scanner date to delivery of the scheme on site.

What are the main purposes and responsibilities of the role:

- Rectification project; reconstruction of the carriageway
- Surfacing dressing programme
- Anti Sid programme
- Surfacing programme will take place towards the end of the year
- Carriageway maintenance programme
- Ideally someone that can improve processes

Requirements:

Will preferably have an Engineering degree or equivalent.
Previous experience of project management essential, as is the ability to analyse SCANNER data to develop schemes.
Driving licence essential.
Experience of project management and ability to manage schemes to budget and programme. Liaison with Authority and client.
Ability to develop reports and presentations using Microsoft office. Recognises Health and Safety is an essential element of the role and promotes this through safety audits and TBT.
Key Skills:

Knowledge of highways/civils works
Good knowledge of surfacing/aggregates
Good knowledge of engineering principles
Strong IT literate
Knowledge of Office and ability to write and present reports. Liaison with client and Authority.
Knowledge of the Island Network preferred. Previous use of confirm, papyrus and other internal systems preferred.

HNC/HND Civil Engineering
