Student Support Officer - Corby
Tradewind Recruitment are working with a supportive and inclusive school in Corby who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Support Officer to join their team from September 2026.

The Role
As a Student Support Officer, you will:
Provide pastoral support to students across the school.
Work closely with pupils who may require additional guidance and intervention.
Support attendance, behaviour, wellbeing, and engagement initiatives.
Build positive relationships with students, families, and external agencies.
Monitor and track student progress and welfare concerns.
Assist with behaviour management strategies and restorative approaches.
Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational, pastoral, youth work, or support setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build rapport with students from a range of backgrounds.
A calm, resilient, and proactive approach.
Excellent organisational and record-keeping skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
